We are named for the amusement park that once stood at Alki Point — a West Seattle landmark that came down long before we picked up our first hammer here in 1996. The name stuck because this neighborhood is where we live, where we work, and where most of our clients find us.
01 OUR STORY
Luna Park Construction started the way most good trades businesses do: one carpenter, a truck, and a reputation that travelled one block at a time. Three decades later we are a full-service general contractor handling kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions and everything in between — and a large share of our calendar is still filled by people who hired us before, or by their neighbors.
We formally incorporated as Luna Park Construction LLC in 2019, but the hands, the standards and the phone number have not changed. We are licensed, bonded and insured in Washington State, and we keep an active profile with the Better Business Bureau because we think you should be able to check on us before you let anyone into your home.
ON SITE IN WEST SEATTLE — 3293 31ST AVE SW
Remodeling is disruptive by nature. You are living in a construction site, eating off a folding table, and trusting strangers with your house. The only thing that makes that tolerable is a contractor who communicates. So we built the company around four commitments:
Our core work is kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling and basement remodeling — the three projects that change how a Seattle house actually lives. Around those we do general contracting: additions, structural repairs, whole-home renovations, and the exterior work that keeps Pacific Northwest weather on the outside of your home.
We also handle decks, windows, doors, siding and finish carpentry — sometimes as standalone jobs, often as the natural second phase after an interior remodel.
Seattle housing stock has patterns. The 1920s bungalows in Admiral hide knob-and-tube. The mid-century split-levels off Delridge have basements that need drainage work before anyone talks about drywall. Post-war homes near Fauntleroy frequently need a beam where a wall is coming out. Knowing this before demo — instead of discovering it on day four — is the difference between a project that holds its budget and one that does not.

02 STANDARDS
We do not price remodels sight-unseen. A number given without walking the space is a number that changes later, and that helps nobody.
Unpermitted work becomes your problem at resale. We pull permits through Seattle DCI and schedule every inspection the code calls for.
If something genuinely unforeseen comes out of a wall, we show you, explain the options, and price it in writing before we touch it.
You get a weekly update, a current schedule, and a direct line to the person running your job — for the whole project.
“Thirty years in the neighborhood shows. They knew what was behind our walls before they opened them.”
